Wouldn't it be interesting to have a formal Communication committee? This might be useful to spread the word in the community and prompt comments and suggestions from the "end-users" of the agreement. It might also be useful down the road, to help establish some kind of "Journalism Fellowship", like the ones established by several sister city organizations (Chicago, Los angeles). One of the goals being to let people on the other side of the Atlantic know of Laguna Beach, think of the benefits of having a Menton journalist hosted in Launa Beach say for two or three weeks over the summer, who would regularly comment in the local French newspaper on Laguna Beach events and organizations, and its many accomplishments. For the French newspaper, it could be one of the regular features they have in the summer, a "chronique de Laguna Beach"... The French newspaper being also read by a number of French-speaking tourists in Menton during the summer, the impact would be more than just local.Anyway, just a thought ...
